The inaugural statue in Figurama’s celebrated Elite Fandom line, the Kaneki VS Yamori Elite Legacy Statue, immortalizes the savage season finale confrontation between the newly awakened half-ghoul Kaneki and the psychotic 13th Ward tormentor, Yamori (Jason).
This Elite Legacy Statue is a special production exclusively celebrating our 10th Anniversary, marking a decade of master craftsmanship in the collector's market. Towering an intimidating 63cm (over 24in) high, the figure captures Kaneki mid-leap on the newly-sprouted fourth tentacle of his crimson Kagune, hovering above a snarling Yamori who lunges up to meet him with his monstrous, incomplete Kakuja claw.
The cracked, detailed floor of Yamori’s torture chamber is littered with cinematic Easter Eggs, including discarded torture instruments, a bucket of blood, and the rusty chair that restrained Kaneki. Most poignant is the sight of a Chinese red-headed centipede near Yamori's discarded mask, while a single white carnation, splattered with sanguinary flecks, foreshadows its iconic transformation into a spider lily, marking Kaneki’s irreversible embrace of his inner ghoul.
Crafted from premium polystone and painstakingly hand-painted, this 1/6-scale spectacle hangs frozen in time over a base that is a masterwork in storytelling. The circular platform is intricately inlaid with symbolic ghoul masks crafted by Uta, visually representing the ethical rift between the peaceful Anteiku and the violent Aogiri factions. Transparent panes are backed to illuminate these masks, effectively recreating the eerie, urban, and visceral tone of the anime.
Conceptualized by Daniel Kamarudin and masterfully sculpted by Daniel Simon with support from award-winning artist Keita Okada, Figurama’s Kaneki vs Yamori diorama encompasses the extent of Tokyo Ghoul lore. It expertly marries the anime's visceral adrenaline with the manga's anatomical realism and finely-etched details.
As a highly exclusive 10th Anniversary release, the diorama includes optional heads for both Kaneki (three portraits) and Yamori (two portraits). As a bonus feature, the statue provides two weathered stands, beautifully embellished with the cryptic Tokyo Ghoul logo, allowing collectors to conveniently and attractively display the secondary head sculpts like miniature 1/6-scale busts alongside the diorama.
